See if
the retailer will pitch the tent for you. If this is not a practical
option, please ask for explanations. Whatever, read the instructions
and pitch, pitch, pitch the tent yourself in your back garden to find
any possible faults and to familiarise yourself with it before you
go camping for the first time.

| While it is nice to have
a massive frame tent to house the family sometimes it is not practical.
Consider pitching time. You want to get your family under canvas as
soon as possible. Can you pitch the tent with the mimimum of help
if your partner has to deal with fractious kids? This may tempt you
to purchase a large dome tent but, remember, these can be very unwiedly
in windy conditions. |
